Breakdown of "Take a breather"

I'm a music nerd and I'm also a big fan of indie rock. Last year, a friend of mine told me about an incredible  indie band called Mansions on the Moon. I looked them up online and I was amazed by the melodic tone of the song, "She makes me feel". It sort of reminds me of something that the Beach Boys would do. Anyways, I was so inspired by this particular track that I made it into a remix which I named  "Take a Breather."  The downloadable track is available on the Audio Dropout link on the side bar.

The face behind the voice

So I finally stopped being lazy and decided to find out more about the lady behind the voice on a track that I remixed a while ago called "Glitch Overdrive". If your interested in listening to the track, check out the link on the sidebar. When I first got the original track, I had no idea who was she was. It took me a lot of digging to finally put a  face to the voice. Here's Jessica Lea Mayfield in her original song, "Kiss me Again."
